It begins with a large uniform molecular structure, 900-kD size, with protective accessory proteins
With a few tiny injections, BOTOX® Cosmetic blocks the release of acetylcholine, the chemical that causes muscles to contract
With less movement, the skin surface gradually smoothes out and the lines begin to fade.
What should you expect
A simple, 10 to 15 minute procedure consisting of few small injections, a cold pack or anesthetic cream will be used.
Minimal and brief discomfort
There may be slight temporary bruising at the injection area;
